Welcome to our monthly instalment of our iHerb Haul!

For those who don’t know, iHerb is an online retailer that offers primarily supplements, as well as a wide range of eco-friendly cleaning, makeup and food products. They’ve been in business since 1996 and ship all over the world. I discovered them in 2013 while I was doing my first Whole30 and have made regular orders since.

Each month, we’ll be reviewing a range of iHerb products that we’ve carefully selected to supplement your paleo and Whole30 diet. If you’d like to purchase any of the products we recommend, just click through the links provided (this means we get a tiny reward which is always nice!)

February iHerb Haul

paleo pizza crust

The Julian Bakery, Paleo Pizza Crust Mix

Let’s be honest. There’s really nothing better than pizza. If you’re craving pizza on your paleo diet, then this mix is for you. It’s easy (just add water!) and it’s tasty (one of the ingredients in pumpkin powder) and will hit the spot on a Friday night when you’re determined to stay on plan but you just need a treat!

parsnip chips

Wonderfully Raw Gourmet Delights, Snip Chips, Cheezy Herb Truffle

I always notice the lack of snacky, crunchy food I’m eating while doing a Whole30. Obviously this just magnifies my addiction to snacking, but if it’s something you really can’t live without then these are for you. They’re incredibly flavoursome, although the parsnip taste is a little strong.

taco seasoning

Frontier Natural Products, Taco Seasoning

This seasoning is incredibly versatile and delicious. I’ve so far sprinkled it over mince, chicken, pork and eggs. It’s a great combination of flavours and I know I’ll be reaching for it a few times a week!

gomaisu

Eden Foods, Organic Seaweed Gomasio

What a fabulous discovery this was! This salt substitute includes organic dry roasted sesame seeds and  the mineral rich sea vegetables kombu, dulse, and nori. It can be used exactly the same as you would use salt to season anything – to season stir fries, meat, vegetables, etc.

bacon bites

Epic Bar, Bites, Uncured Bacon, Pork & Sea Salt

Yuuuuuuuum! These were exceptional, and I can’t wait to buy more. Little chewy pieces of bacon to curb any snack cravings. They were the perfect amount of saltiness and just an all-round delicious snack. I’m a fan.
